It hasn’t even been half a year since the birth of my site but I’m already thinking of a major overhaul.  I’ll still have the blog so I can continue my natterings - unfortunate for all visitors, I know.  :P  However, the focal point of this site will be jewellery so there won’t be any pages dedication to bakery or music - that’s not saying there won’t be blog entries on them.  I know it seems like I’m pigeon-holing myself but I really want to be able to showcase my designs and makings.  Any non-related jewellery pages will just seem pointless and somewhat redundant.

I’ll start by attempting to design a better layout, hopefully give a more professional look to this site.

Ahh…finally. I know it’s been a while (understatement much?) but I won’t go into details because my reasons behind the inactivity is nothing interesting. Let’s face it, nobody wants excuses.

Ah yes, I have finally made my first layout. All I can said about that is…yippee…it’s about time. Although, I was a bit worried about it because of all the PHP malarkey but with help from Han’s tutorial and WordPress’s codex I managed to suss it out. If you come across any problems let me know and give me time to fix the problem, knowing me I’ll create a whole new one :P. Also, do tell me if something’s bothering your viewing of the site (e.g. colours, text…). Oh, and…erm…you don’t need to tell me about the links on the top, I know they don’t work (just remembered that I deleted them XD). I’ll get around to actually making content, hah.

I think it’s about time I made myself a layout but I’m not sure how I want it to look.  I know I’ve got other things going on, with university, work, competitions and my other site and all but heck I need something to occupy me if I’ve got nothing else to do.  Busy it good :D.  That’s besides the point anyway.  I’ve searched the ‘net but nothing seems to shine a light bulb.  How do you go about producing a layout?
